The Central Market and City Square are home to an assortment of markets and fairs showcasing a wide selection of goods.

If you organise a Niche Market, such as a Craft market, Antique Fair or Farmers Market, this can be the ideal location to showcase your products.

Pop Up Market

Stalls are available at the Christmas pop up market

Friday 23 November is the date for the Lincoln Christmas Lights Switch on and as part of the festivities we are hosting a Christmas Themed Pop up Market within Lincoln Central Market. There are up to 20 stalls available for people wanting to sell Christmas related gifts and products. Stalls will be £20 each with the market running from 12pm until 8pm. Expression of interest applications will be required and applications will be assessed and those selling Christmas related products or Christmas gifts will be given preference.

Applications will be accepted online only until midnight on Tuesday 23 October 2018. Please see the link below to apply.

Offer letters and requests for payment will be sent out by Friday 26 October 2018.

Tuesday pop up market 

Calling all traders and budding entrepreneurs! Lincoln Central Market will be hosting a weekly pop-up market every Tuesday from 2 October 2018.

For only £10 you can have a trading table inside Lincoln’s largest marketplace for the whole day to sell anything from arts and crafts to soaps and smellys.

So if you’ve got a talent for producing interesting works of art, or have a loft full of old model railway sets that would catch someone’s eye, then we want to hear from you.

Lincoln Christmas pop up market – FAQ

A Christmas themed pop up market will be held within Lincoln Central Market on the day of the Christmas Lights Switch on in the High Street.

When?

Friday 23 November 2018 12pm til 8pm

If there is additional demand we will consider a further market on Saturday 24 November. Applicants with an offer for the Friday market will be offered the opportunity to trade on both days prior to stalls being let to traders not operating on the Friday. Applicants will be notified by Friday 26 October 2018 if the Saturday will go ahead. We will not be taking applications for the Saturday until after Friday 26 October.

How much?

Lincoln Central Market is cashless for all bookings. Payments can be made in person in the market via a contactless card machine, over the phone or online. A link for online payment will be sent with your offer letter.

Please note: Payment will be required to secure your booking. You will not be able to turn up on the day and take a stall.

Applications

Applications can only be made online at lincolnmarkets.co.uk for the Christmas themed market.

Expressions of interest are to be submitted by Midnight on Tuesday 23 October 2018 with offer letters sent out by Friday 26 October 2018. Applications will be assessed against what is being sold with Christmas related items and gifts given preference.

Please indicate on your application what products you will be selling. If possible/ available please include link to website/facebook account so we are able to look at your product range to assist with application assessment.

Cancellation

Bookings can be cancelled with a full refund up to 48 hours before the start of the market (12pm Wednesday 21 November). If cancellation is within 48 hours you will not be eligible for a refund.

Parking/unloading

The market building can be accessed from 7am to unload.

Vehicles can be unloaded on Sincil Street and Waterside South outside the market before 9am, all vehicles must be off the site by 9am. There is no vehicular access to the market after 9am.

Parking is available nearby on Tentercroft Street, Broadgate and Lincoln Central car parks. Please note if you are in a van you may not be able to access Broadgate or the Lincoln Central car parks as these are both multi-storey car parks with height restrictions.

Bookings can be taken up to 9am on the morning of the market or until all tables are taken.

Please note: payment can only be made over the phone or in person, we cannot currently offer online payments.

Please ensure you have completed an application form and paid for your table to secure a booking. You will also be required to sign a license agreement on the morning of the market.

Cancellation
